My friend Michael Heath Pecorino last night surprised me with the coolest birthday present ever: a comic adaptation of my short story “Second Wind,” which Horror World published last summer. Heath is the former owner of the Short Box Comics store in Staunton, VA, and his talents should really get snatched up by a comic book publisher somewhere.
