I’ll be at the Scares That Care Weekend horror convention, June 27-29, in Williamsburg, VA. Will I see you there? My schedule includes the following:

• 5 p.m., Saturday: “Desert Island Horror” panelist. Topic: “What one horror movie, horror novel, and horror short story would you want with you if you were shipwrecked?” My offhand thought is to list anything that would enhance my survival chances, stuff like Tom Hanks in Castaway. Maybe you have some suggestions.
• 12:45 p.m., Sunday: joint reading and book signing with P.D. Cacek. In case you don’t know what I mean by a “reading,” it means that I’ll read an excerpt from something of mine. But anyone who’s been to one of my performances knows I’m not just reading. . . .
