My recent short story in Alt Hist received a short review in Locus Online Reviews. Fortunately, I got off easy compared to my fellow contributors, although the reviewer didn’t understand why the editor found the historical fact of women fighting in the Civil War to be remarkable. The reviewer picked a good excerpt to illustrate the narrator’s voice.
