If you’re passing through Providence, RI, you should drop by the John D. Rockefeller, Jr. Library at Brown University before Oct. 24 to see their exhibit of H.P. Lovecraft’s notes. You’ll see mind-bending plot notes for At the Mountains of Madness such as this one on an envelope:

This picture reminds me of the one I have of his draft of the same story. Years ago, I capitalized on my connections gained while managing the reprint of Lovecraft at Last: The Master of Horror in His Own Words for the Willis Conover estate to obtain the following photocopy. It hangs on a wall over my computer:
