What is that on the easel?

So, what does it look like I’m teaching in this picture, creative writing or geometry?

SVPA

You’re right. It was creative writing. Those graphs and diagrams on the easel are about character arcs and three-act structure.

The picture is from the talk I gave last night to the Shenandoah Valley chapter of the Virginia Production Alliance titled “Story Craft and Screenwriting.” The talk was open to the public and held at the Staunton Public Library.

The next stop on my tour is as the guest of a private book club here in Staunton, and then I’m signing books at Ukazoo Books in Towson, MD, on January 25 from 1–3 p.m.
