It didn’t make it to the finals of this year’s Filmsupply Editfest contest, but I still had fun creating my submission, “2025: Beyond the Monolith.” The assignment was to create a 1-minute trailer for a make-believe movie.  At least 51% of its video clips had to be from Filmsupply’s stock video catalog, and at least 11 seconds of its music had to come from Musicbed.  I created a tribute to one of my favorite science fiction movies, “2001: A Space Odyssey.”
