I’m pleased to announce my short film, “The Phoenix Diner,” has received its first acceptance. This 2-minute fantasy film is an official selection of the 2026 Neu Wave AI Film Festival. The festival will be October 14 in Los Angeles as part of LA Tech Week.
Synopsis:
On New Year’s Eve, a heartbroken woman and a failed writer meet in a diner where the waiter serves them the one thing they’ve never been able to swallow: their own disappointments. On the woman’s plate sits an engagement ring, and on the writer’s, a rejection letter. “I can’t eat that,” the woman protests—but what might happen if she did?
