When an older couple try to find a place to sit at a coffee shop, they discover all the tables are occupied by the “Horizon hipsters” — addicts of the new Horizon Worlds virtual reality platform. Can they stage a diversion to clear up one of the tables?
About the Film
Filmed entirely within the Horizon Worlds application for the Oculus VR headset from Meta, Film Sensei Productions pioneers a new film genre with The Horizon Hipsters. By using the Horizon Worlds building tools and its shared VR experience, this short experimental film represents a new method for no-cost motion capture and location scouting, plus a convenient way to coordinate filming with actors not in the same location.
The Horizon Hipsters is based on a short comedy stage play called “Hipster Hobos” by D.M. Larson.
