Trump wants voters to behave as if he’s on the midterm ballot. Unforunately, we should do exactly that, because this election will determine whether he effectively remains in power. That’s why you should vote against him and his party. Passionately.
250 years ago, the Founding Fathers declared independence from a kingdom in which our rights were secondary to the whims of a monarch. Shortly afterward, they passed a constitution splitting power among the branches of government to ensure our rights would be protected. We don’t have that protection right now.
Our vulnerable necks lay upon the chopping block. If we don’t vote against Trump and his party, the depredations we’re suffering will worsen for the next two years—at least. The institution of democratic voting is under attack, so it’s possible this may be the final election our votes have an actual chance of functioning as designed.
Election Day is three weeks from today. We need to decide what kind of country we want to live in.
Don’t vote for Trump and party. Vote for America. Vote for your children. Vote for yourself.
