Interviewed by WHSV TV-3 About the Intersection of Death

Well, “Intersection of Death” is what my family calls it, anyway. We’re referring to the intersection of Richie Boulevard and Greenville Avenue / Route 11 at the mouth of our neighborhood. Our subdivision in Staunton, with 366 single-family homes, depends on it as our main ingress and egress.

It’s dangerous as hell without a traffic signal or circle. So my neighbors and I sent a letter to the city manager, who referred the matter to the Department of Public Works, who have referred it to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

Here’s me and the Director of Public Works debating the subject in a recent TV interview (click to go to WHSV website):

I’m not done pursuing this.
