I haven’t gone anywhere. Still here, still working. But I’ve neglected to follow the advice I give to my website clients, which is to update one’s news blog at least once per month to maintain SEO and assure people you haven’t died or something.

2026 has been one of my busiest years ever in terms of creative production, but I don’t have a lot to make public and free right now. This includes:

• A short fantasy/horror film made entirely with AI generative tools just so I could learn what all the fuss is about. (on submission)
• A short animated music video about grammar—because grammar is important to me as a writer, dontcha know. (on submission)
• A feature-length screenplay adaptation of another writer’s kickass novella. (in development)
• The award-winning short animated film, Couple’s Counseling, will be released on my YouTube channel this fall.
• A faceless YouTube channel experiment that eats up 14 hours/week. I can’t tell you more than that right now because it’s still “faceless.”

My daytime job as a website designer continues to keep life afloat. Lately, I’ve had an opportunity to do some professional film editing, which has been a great opportunity to apply those skills.

I’m also continuing to volunteer locally as a Brazilian jiujitsu instructor, which is one of the ways I try to make the world a better place.
